Milk & Almond to the Rescue
Apart from being a good exfoliator, almond & milk face pack makes the skin soft, supple and glowing.
Take 1 tablespoon of almond powder and mix with 2 table spoon of milk to make a paste. Apply on the face and keep for 10 minutes. Gently massage and wash off.
Almond is rich in vitamin E and fatty acids, while milk is an amazing moisturizer.
Pack the Face with Papaya
It is the Papaya face pack which you want to apply for rejuvenated firm and younger skin.
Take a piece of Papaya & a Banana and mesh it. Add 2 teaspoons of honey and mix well. Apply on your face and other dry areas.
Papaya contains anti-oxidants and banana has vitamins. Honey is natural moisturizer.
Lock-in the Moisture with Glycerine
Most widely used and easily available, Glycerine is your best mate for beauty care in winters.
Wash your face and pat it dry with towel. Keep it slightly damp. Use a cotton ball and soak it in glycerine. Apply on face and don’t wash it off.
Due to its humectant and emollient properties, Glycerine moisturizes and restores the hydration of skin making it soft.
Cover it up with Buttermilk & Yogurt
Get rid of the winter itchiness with buttermilk and yogurt bodypack.
Mix equal amounts of buttermilk and yogurt. Apply all over the body and let it sit for 15-20 milks. Wash it off with warm water and pat dry with towel.
Yogurt is rich in minerals, vitamins and other enzymes, hence it cleanses the skin and lightens blemishes. Buttermilk has lactic acid which clears dry and dull skin.
The very own Coconut Oil
When it comes to skincare, one usually wants to go all natural. Coconut oil is the best option to stick to.
Apply coconut oil on the dry area and massage it till it gets absorbed in the skin. Do not wash it off.
Rich in fatty acids, coconut oil is the natural moisturizer. Apply it overnight as it prevents the moisture loss.
Winter’s favourite – Petroleum Jelly
Extremely affordable and widely available, Petroleum jelly is a skincare product which can be applied on any part of body with dry skin. Be it dry lips, cracked heels or dry skin.
Apply petroleum jelly on the dry areas and massage till it is totally absorbed in the skin.
Being an emollient, petroleum jelly moisturizes the skin and keeps it smooth & glowing in winter.
